How to change the USB mode (Host/Device)?

The C4-Evo USB can be configured in Host or Device modes via the parameter usb.defaultUsbMode. Set it to 1 for Host mode or 2 for Device mode.

Note: The USB must be set as Device mode to be used with an IBD cable and connected to the console. Thus, if you cannot connect the console try to configure the device with the SMS set,usb.defaultUsbMode,2 and reset.

How to manage the outputs?

  • Type #SWITCH# to open the basics console.
  • Type screen 2 to open the commands console.
  • Type cexe MainProc_DigitalOutputs.cmd setState 1 1 to enable the output 1.
  • Type cexe MainProc_DigitalOutputs.cmd setState 1 0 to disable the output 1.
  • Type cexe MainProc_DigitalOutputs.cmd setState 2 1 to enable the output 2.
  • Type cexe MainProc_DigitalOutputs.cmd setState 2 0 to disable the output 2.

Note: Use the command iostate from the basics console to control the outputs.

How to manually install the RNDIS driver on Windows Vista/7?

Follow these steps to manually install the RNDIS driver.

  • Click Start, right-click Computer, and then click Properties.
  • In the Tasks pane, click Device Manager.
  • In Device Manager, locate the device for which you want to install the driver.
  • Right-click the device, and then click Update Driver Software.
  • Click Browse my computer for driver software, click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, and then click Have Disk.
  • In the Install From Disk dialog box, click Browse, locate an .inf file for the device driver that you want to install, and then click Open.
  • Follow the steps in the Update Driver Software DeviceName dialog box to update the driver.
